Revitalized CRM Program

CHALLENGE

HERTZ was just recovering from a bail-out cash infusion amid the COVID-19 pandemic. They cut most of their marketing department staff & slashed budgets - but still had to maintain their brand positioning as a elite destination for rental cars, and home to the best fleet globally.

SCOPE: Our head of strategy & data science both consulted on this project in late 2020, tasked with leveraging owned channels (no paid media budgets) to re-invigorate sales figures and drive incremental revenue.

SOLUTION

Using 1st part data, our leadership designed several data-driven journey & led the creative direction of a new design system, overseeing its set up in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

Through personalized journeys, timely model driven interventions and revitalized creative we drove 3x more growth in CRM in their history. Ultimately generating over $100M in incremental revenue in their first year post-covid.
