CHALLENGE
Rogers is Canada’s largest telecom provider & entertainment hub. They are home to over 5 different brands and a very large audience base that receive tons of marketing communications across the silo’d departments.
SCOPE: Our head of strategy was tasked with the analysis of communication volume as well as unsubscribe impact and was a core contributor to building prioritization & business rules.
SOLUTION
Using 1st party data, a deep dive analysis into the value of every unsubscribe was derived to push investment into the launch of a preference center project. In addition, business rules were developed to attach to delivery platforms like SFMC, whereby customers are not being overwhelmed with marketing communications and internal brands weren’t competing.
Through a net new campaign intake system and prioritization process, implemented and led by our head of strategy, more effective communications were sent. Resulting in high conversion rates and lower unsubscribe rates & large resource management.
